Flexible packaging refers to a package in which the shape of the container can be changed after filling or removing the contents. Various bags, boxes, sleeves, envelopes, and the like made of plastic film, paper, aluminum foil, fibers, and composites thereof are all flexible packages.

A sheet-like plastic having a thickness of 0.25 mm or less is generally referred to as a film. The cellophane bags, plastic film bags, plastic composite film bags, plastic woven bags, and plastic woven composite bags are collectively referred to as plastic flexible packaging.

China's flexible packaging was introduced from Japan in the late 1970s. After more than 30 years of practice, China's flexible packaging has developed rapidly from scratch, from small to large, from small to large, and its products have also evolved from a single source. The structure and function are moving towards multi-layer composite structure and multiple functional directions. Nowadays, flexible packaging has been applied to all aspects of our lives and plays an important role in modern social life.
